Sei sniffed and buried his face in Kai’s chest. “I went to Himoto’s to get my stuff before he got home but….but he showed up early and he yelled at me and…” He let the sentence drift off.

Kai’s eyes hardened as he looked at the top of Sei’s head and anger boiled in the pit of his stomach nearly making him sick. “Sei did he do something to you against your will!? Because if he did I swear to god he’s a dead man walking!!”

Sei pulled back and looked up at Kai with fierce eyes. “No he would never do something against my will!!” Sighing Sei went and sat down on the park bench and waited till Kai sat with him before he continued. “I just realized that because of me that Himoto’s life will never be the same again, just like I did to you I’ve ruined his life as well.”

Kai grit his teeth and placed his hand over Sei’s smaller one. “Sei you never ruined my life! I fell in love with you but that’s not a bad thing!” He gripped his hand and jerked Sei to him pulling him into a soft embrace. “Please Sei, say you love me like you did before, and don’t tell me that he has replaced me in your heart!”

Sei’s eyes shimmered as he listened to Kai bare his soul to him, taking a deep breath he pulled back and looked in to Kai’s eyes. “I don’t know anything right now Kai, everything is just to confusing with you showing up so suddenly and Himoto finding out about me.” He leaned over and pressed his lips against Kai’s gently. “I just need some time to sort things out right now.

Kai nodded but he felt he had to let Sei know what his intentions were. “Sei I’m telling you this now because it’s the truth, I absolutely will not give you up to that guy. Not now, not ever!”

Sei was stunned but then he smiled sadly. “I thought you might say that.”

Back at Himoto’s place he was pushing the food on his plate around while thoughts of the past few weeks ran through his head, sighing he pushed away from the table and walked into the living room and plopped down on the couch. “Man oh live who would have ever thought a player like me would be so hung up over a guy like him?” It really bugged him since he wasn’t used to caring this much for one person much less a guy. “I suppose I should do something about it soon or I’ll be in deep shit over that dumb ass little brat!” Deciding right then and there he got up and called up the one girl he knew would make him forget it all, it rang a few times before a sexy quiet voice answered.

“Hello this is Karin speaking who may I ask is calling?”

Swallowing once he replied. “Hey sexy how longs it been now?”

“Well, well, well if it isn’t my old friend Himoto? What can I do for you babe?” Of course from the way he sounded she already knew exactly what he wanted.

“Well I have been missing you lately and I wanted to know if you wanted to hook up again? And I mean more than just one night this time honey.” He replied carefully.

Her clear water eyes widened a fraction at hearing this, she’d been trying to get him to date her seriously for awhile now but with no luck. “Well what brought on this sudden change of heart darling?” Not that she was unhappy just curious.

He figured she would need an answer of some kind considering she was the only non bimbo type girl he’d ever dated. “I had a bad break up and instead of feeling like I need to get some good sex I felt the need to be with someone who cared about me.” He hoped that was a good enough answer for her.

Blushing for the first time in ages she smiled even though he couldn’t see her. “I’ll take that as a complement, so come pick me up around noon tomorrow and I promise to make you forget all about this girl who broke your heart ok doll?”

Himoto actually smiled at the malice in her voice when she said “this girl”. “Sounds good, in fact I am looking forward to this more than have anything else in a very, very long time.”

Karin giggled at hearing the way his voice seemed so much lighter after just talking to her. “Well Himoto honey you know I will do anything in order to make any pain you’re feeling vanish without a trace, that’s why they call it love sweetie.”

He grimaced slightly at the sickly sweet voice she used to say that. “Yea, I know I can always count on you to make me feel better, so I’ll see you tomorrow then m’kay babe?”

Karin suppressed her laughter and excitement. “Yes, I will see you then and be waiting every second till then.”

He closed his eyes and shook his head. “Ok bye then.” He let her say her goodbyes then hung up the phone. “Man I must be crazy.” He knew that Karin was a possessive bitch who longed to own him for her and he was playing right into her hands but he had no other choice right now. “Damn you Sei!!? Do you see what your making me do you bastard!?” Sighing he went up stairs and just crashed waiting for tomorrow.
