When Sei woke up the next morning he was very confused as to where he was until he turned over and saw Kai sleeping beside him snoring peacefully, gently he poked Kai in the side trying to jostle him awake, which apparently wasn’t going to work. “Psst, Kai, Wake up you lunk head!”

Stirring but refusing to fully wake, he snuggled deeper into the cover until he felt a sharp pinch in is stomach. “Ouch!” Looking over he saw Sei sitting in there with bed head and looking sexy as hell. “Oh, Morning gorgeous!”

Sei smiled at Kai kindly but with a hint of sadness as he realized he wished it had been Himoto he’d woken up next to, but he quickly brushed those thoughts aside as he climbed out of bed. “So um, what exactly happened last night?”

“Oh you mean other than the steamy hot sex that went on for hours last night?” Kai snorted when he saw Sei’s face pale about three shades whiter. “I’m kidding, you fell asleep after crying as hard as you did, so I carried you to my house and put you to bed.”

Sei raised an eyebrow at Kai. “Ok, say I believe that. Just how did you end up in bed with me then?”

Kai laughed at the serious look that passed over his cutie’s face. “I was tired as a dog Sei and I didn’t feel like conking out on the floor or couch, and since we did have an intimate relationship I didn’t figure would mind if we shared the bed.”

Sei thought it over a minute then let out a breathy sigh and smiled a cute little half smile at Kai. “Ok then your forgiven as long as you didn’t try anything buster!”

Kai though back to the previous night when he’d carried Sei in and laid him on the bed, he’d been so beautiful that Kai couldn’t resist kissing him once on the lips before tucking him in. “Me, try anything with you?” he asked. “Why I’m very much appalled at the mere thought.”

Sei got the feeling that Kai was not telling him something but he decided to let it drop for now. “So you feel like breakfast?”

Kai’s face lit up with a smile. “Are you kidding!?” He asked. “I haven’t had one of your meals in ages.” He all but shouted, and then more quietly added. “And yes Sei I would love some breakfast.”

Giggling Sei felt his heart get a bit lighter a little bit as he went to prepare breakfast. “Ok it’ll be done in about thirty minutes!” He went into the kitchen but when he got to the stove he felt an arm encircle his waist, looking back he saw Kai pulling him closer. “Kai?”

“Ok how about you make me dinner tonight and since it’s nearly noon we get ready and I’ll take you out for lunch ok?”

Sei leaned back into Kai slightly and inhaled his scent, and then he nodded and turned to look up at him. “Yea ok that sounds like a plan just let me take a shower first ok?

Kai nodded and let him go to the bathroom to clean up for now.

Back at Himoto’s there were the sounds of loud snoring even though it was nearly eleven thirty by now, Himoto rolled to one side and peeked an eye open at the clock and when he made out the numbers he threw back his covers and leapt out of bed. “Shit I’ll never make it on time damn it!”

He hurried into the bathroom and took a minute long shower then ran around in a near panic as he searched for his clothes, finally about eleven forty five he was ready to go as he headed out and started the car, he then drove off and headed to pick up Karin at her place.

Karin had just finished putting the finishing touches on her make-up when the doorbell rang, running downstairs she smiled ah she opened the door and saw Himoto. “Hey sweetie it’s been a while.” She leaned up and kissed him on the corner of the mouth.

Himoto grinned at the drop dead sexy woman, if he didn’t know any better he’d say she was sex on heels. “Yea well I’ve been busy keeping other people happy, but I’m done with that now.” He leaned down and kissed her full on the mouth making her moan.

Karin pulled back slightly and just drank in the sight of him. “Man I have missed you in so many ways Himoto.”

“I’ve missed you to cutie,” He said as he hooked a finger under her chin. “Now what’s say we go out and get some lunch and catch up on old times?”

Smiling she reached over and grabbed her purse up. “Ok I’m all set so let’s get this show on the road doll face.”

He winced at the doll face comment but let it slide as he opened the car door for her, he just kept thinking to himself that she was just what he needed right now. “Well I hope you’re up for a day of fun because baby you are all mine today.”

As she applied her lipstick, she glanced at him through the rearview mirror and gave him a cat like smile. “We’ll just see who belongs to whom today honey.”

He let out a genuine laugh at that remark and slid his free arm around her shoulders. “Karin you are just what I need in my life, and this time I have no intention of letting you go like I did last time.”

Smiling she snuggled into his chest. “Good because I had no intention of leaving this time around either.”

He smiled and pulled out of the driveway and headed to town with Karin.

Sei set down beside Kai at the little outdoors café they had chosen to eat at and took a sip of his water. “This is a nice place but are you sure you want all these people to see us out together?” He asked cautiously knowing that people seeing him as a gay guy had always bothered Kai.

Kai smiled lazily at Sei, reached over, and took his smaller, paler hand in his own. Sei I have changed a lot since you moved and I intend to prove to you that I am the right guy for you.”

Sei sighed and leaned back in the whicker chair slightly. “Kai I told you I’m not sure about anything right now and I’ll just need more time before I come to any kind of a decision ok?”

Kai nodded but kept a hold of Sei’s hand despite that. “I know you’re going through a rough patch but I can’t help the feelings I have for you Sei and I just want you to know I’m here for you ok?”

Sei smiled and gently gripped Kai’s larger hand. “Yes, I know all of this Kai and I am more thankful than you’ll ever know.”

Kai stared at Sei and became lost in his own emotions, and then before he knew it he was tugging Sei closer until their lips met in a flower soft kiss.

Sei reveled in the warmth of Kai’s lips, he allowed Kai to part his lips for better access as he deepened the kiss, then he got a flash of Himoto in his head and abruptly pulled back. “I’m sorry I can’t, I just can’t Kai.”

Kai looked at Sei with a mixture of frustration and sadness. “Don’t worry about it Sei, I understand.” He leaned back in his chair and took a long drink of his tea.

Sei nodded and fought the tears that were threatening to overwhelm him, he sniffed and looked up but to his horror, standing right behind Kai was Himoto and another girl. “Himoto, what are you doing here?”

Himoto glanced from Sei to the other guy sitting there and tried not to let what he had just seen affect him to much. “Not much, just taking Karin here out for a good time.”

Kai turned in his seat and glared at the man who’d been causing Sei so much heartache. “Well look here if it isn’t Mister. Himoto, what’s up Himy?”

Himoto glared at Kai and then swiveled is gaze to Sei. “Like I said I’m on a date, looks you guys are doing the same huh Sei?”

Sei hung his head avoiding Himoto’s dark gaze. “Yea well Kai has been really worried about me so he took me to lunch to cheer me up.”

Kai stood up and grabbed Sei’s hand pulling him to his feet. “Come on Sei we don’t need to listen to this guy talk shit about you.”

Sei nodded and turned to leave when suddenly he was being pulled against a hard chest, turning his head he looked up and saw Himoto with tears in his eyes.
