Page One!!!!!

Walking through the park Kane stopped near the old creek in order to light a cigarette, as he flicked open his lighter something caught his eyes and caused him to look up just in time to see a rail thin girl with shoulder length brown hair spinning around in the grass until she finally fell to the ground, curious he walked over to her then leaned over her face. “Hey are you crazy or something dancing around like that?”

Opening her eyes Gabriel stared at the blonde haired, blued eyed man above her. “I have been told that on more than one occasion. Why?”

He looked at her for a minute before settling down beside her on the soft grass. “So is that your idea of fun? To go around pretending you’re a nut and scare little kids in the park?
“First of all you’re not some little kid that I can go around scaring even if that was my intention to begin with.” She said with a smirk.

“And what’s the second of all?” He asked curious to find out a bit more about this girl.

Surprised he was so sharp she glanced over at him where he lay sprawled in the grass. “Second of all I never said I was pretending to be a nut…in fact it’s more accurate to just say I am crazy through and through.” She stood and brushed off her pants as she looked down at him with her face completely void of any emotion.

He was beginning to think maybe she was crazy or at least some sort of freak with the way she stared at him with those blank eyes. “So your crazy ok…but your still a girl so don’t you think it’s a bit dangerous to be out alone at this time of night?”

Laughing she looked up at the silver moon. “I’m on my way home so there is not much point in trying to play the part of a hero Kane it doesn’t suit your bad boy image.”

Shocked that he knew who he was he sat there for a moment before it finally occurred to him. “We go to the same school don’t we?” He asked.

“Well I was wondering how long it would take to figure that one out Sherlock.” Stretching she began walking off with out as much as a glance back at him.

“Hey wait you could at least tell me your name?” He inclined his head to look at her as she stopped and turned.

She thought a moment then figured that he was the type that would forget easily enough especially since they never saw each other in school so she figured she could at least give him her name. “My name is Gabriel and that’s all you get for tonight so until next we meet see ya around.” Flipping her hair she walked off leaving him alone in the dark.

“Heh she is definitely a weird one…but I kinda like that about her so I might just have to find Miss. Gabby again.” Climbing to his feet he stretched then reached for another cigarette as he smiled to himself, he thought about he would find her at school tomorrow and see if he could figure her out any better at school then he did tonight. “One thing’s for sure…she is definitely unlike any girl I’ve ever met before and that is just what makes her so intriguing.” Putting out the cig he headed home with a little smile on his face.
